Steps to making Lasagna

Preparation Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (about 175°C).
  • Sauté sliced garlic with ground beef until the oil is released.
  • Boil water in a large pot for the pasta, cook according to the lasagna box instructions, and rinse the cooked pasta with cold water to prevent sticking.
  • Dice carrots, mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers and set aside.
  • Layer the cooked meat sauce, pasta, diced vegetables, pasta sauce, and cheese in a baking dish.
  • After preheating the oven, place the baking dish inside and bake until the cheese is melted and the surface is slightly browned.

Preparation Steps:

  • Cut onions, red peppers, and carrots into square pieces, crush garlic cloves, and cut eggplants into square pieces.
  • Fry the crushed garlic in olive oil, then sauté the eggplant pieces for 7 minutes until almost cooked, then set aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté onions, garlic, carrots, and bay leaves in olive oil, add red pepper pieces, then add canned tomatoes, olives, and other seasonings, stirring constantly.
  • Add the fried eggplant pieces and simmer covered over low heat for 35-40 minutes.
  • Cook pre-cooked polenta: Bring water to a boil, add salt, slowly add polenta while stirring.
