Main types of commercial cold storage
- Refrigerator
Refrefers to the storage facility for storing items (such as food, vegetables, fruits, etc.), usually between 0°C and 10°C. The main purpose of refrigerated storage is to extend the shelf life of the items and maintain their quality and freshness.
- Freezing library
Usually used to store items that need to be stored at-18°C or less, commonly found in corrupt foods such as meat, seafood, ice cream.
- Pharmaceutical cold storage
It is a low-temperature storage facility specially designed for storing drugs, vaccines, plasma, etc. The temperature is usually controlled at 2°C to 8°C, and some special drugs require lower temperature storage.
